Which Nine Inch Nails Album should I get next?
I bought Fragile a few months ago, due to my love of the tracks 'The Fragile' and 'We're in this Together', after several listens right through, I slowly fell in love with nearly every song (apart 1 or 2, but 21 out of 23 is pretty good)
What album do you suggest I get next? I'm thinking of either The Downward Spiral, or With Teeth?
Suggestions please?
The Downward Spiral. Pretty Hate Machine was the first true album and still great. Broken is short, but to the point. By those three.
I don't know why With Teeth ever gets good reviews. I've been a NIN fan for ages. I have all of the halos (and many imports) up to With Teeth. After that, I stopped following NIN. On With Teeth, the music sounded like it was recorded in a garage. There seemed to be much less creativity and work put into this project. The last few projects of NIN have been flops and sound cheap. I think Trent is trying to fill out the requirements of his recording contract and then retire.
P.S. If you can ever get the second disc of the Limited Edition live album of "All That Could Have Been", do it. It has awesome instrumentals and acoustic versions of some of Trent's songs. I love it.
