Should I get a Tool Third Eye tattoo in 5 years?
I am a big fan of progressive and alternative metal, well, honestly, metal in general, but primarily those two. Anyways, one of the best pieces of art I've seen a band use is Tool's Third Eye symbol, seen in Lateralus's booklet. I was wondering if I should get it tattooed on my left hand (I've heard equal yes's to no's from friends and family) in five years, because my mother says no to tattoos in general, and I'm, uh, 13...

The third eye looks nothing like what you're discribing at ALL. Also, I'm getting it on the top of my hand, not the palm, the ink will fade really fast there.
