Is the Columbia Omni-tech 3-in-1 Interchange parka warm enough for the -40 winter days in northern Canada?
Yes, that will do you but you should also layer underneath it as thats really what keeps you warm.
T shirt, shirt, sweater and then your jacket., Long johns if you only have jeans or something on.
Good lined gloves, a hat or toque cause you lose 40% heat from your head... lined boots, ankle high with space inside for double socks
and your set to go.
Remember you can always take stuff off as you warm but once your cold you stay cold.
